About The Conference

In its latest report (January 2021), the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) takes a very cautious approach to assessing the resilience of the global tourism industry in 2021.
According to the National Tourism Authority of Vietnam, the year 2021 is expected to be challenging for the tourism industry.
The complicated and unpredictable development of the global Covid-19 outbreak will affect the recovery of international tourism, and the global tourism industry is recovering very poorly.
While recognized as one of the most efficient anti-Covid-19 countries in the world, Vietnam's tourism will still be profoundly affected by the epidemic.
In response, School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University hosts the International Conference titled "Covid-19, Digital Transformation and Tourism Resilience" to connect domestic and international tourism experts with leaders, policy makers, researchers, and enterprises to create a forum to share insights and experiences on the increasingly complex evolution of Covid-19.
As part of this conference, the School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University would like to study the effects of the Covid outbreak, the digital transformation of tourism and the tourism industry’s resilience. This allows for policy suggestions to help overcome limitations and contribute to tourism development in the new situation.
In addition, the conference will also provide a variety of orientations for scientific research to lecturers, graduate students and students of the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University in the coming time.
